CINCINNATI (WKRC) — The U. S. Food and Drug Administration is warning men to avoid sex drugs for two weeks or longer because of the possible health risks. The agency said men taking the prescription drugs for erectile dysfunction are more likely to get heart attacks, strokes or kidney problems. The drug also is associated with low blood pressure, heart failure and diabetes.
According to the FDA, some drugs for erectile dysfunction can cause low blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes. In the rare case, a man must stop taking the drug altogether, the agency said.
